The Kings have 92 full-time female employees, and the testing is being offered to both employees and their spouses at a discount of 50 to 100 percent, Anderson writes. The test requires only a saliva sample.
He notes that genetic testing is still so unusual as an employee benefit that the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), which regularly surveys hundreds of other healthcare benefit offerings, doesn’t even ask about this one yet.
