Figures released by the "Kiplinger Report" say that pay will rise on a national average by 4% next year. But, not surprisingly, hi-tech workers will see their pay rise by 5.2%. Certain high demand services like legal, consulting, and accounting will also rise faster than average, about 4.7%. In the below average column are health care (3.6%) and utilities (3.8%).
