professionals from around the globe will gather in New Orleans May 22-25 for the 50th Annual WorldatWork Conference and Exhibition and a celebration of the association's golden anniversary.

In addition to educational sessions and keynote addresses, the conference at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center and will feature special 50th anniversary activities and events.

The conference will highlight current total rewards practices, trends and their impact on employees and businesses in five programming tracks: compensation, total rewards, benefits, work-life and executive rewards. Attendees will hear some real-life experiences from such companies as Home Depot, Sears Roebuck, Charles Schwab & Co. Inc., Booz Allen & Hamilton, LeapFrog Enterprises, Sprint, Motorola, Proctor and Gamble, Royal Caribbean Cruises, MetLife, Pulte Homes, Texas Instruments, Wendy's International, BP International, and ON Semiconductor.

Some of the conference topics include performance management, stock options, global remuneration, corporate governance, wellness programs, telework, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) compliance.

Attendees also will hear from two keynote speakers: Ram Charan, business adviser and best-selling author and Erik Wahl, artist and motivational speaker.

WorldatWork is a not-for-profit professional association dedicated to knowledge leadership in compensation, benefits and total rewards. The organization focuses on human resources disciplines associated with attracting, retaining and motivating employees.

WorldatWork was founded in 1955 by 10 compensation practitioners in Ohio as a local networking group to discuss the growing "science" of wage and salary programs. Now headquartered in Scottsdale, Ariz., the organization represents more than 23,000 members worldwide.
