Many HR Pros Believe Women Aren't Paid Fairly
More than one in three human resources professionals believes that women aren't being paid fairly where they work, according to a recent Compensation.BLR.com poll.

When asked "Do you believe that women are paid fairly in your organization?," 61 percent responded "Yes," 37 percent responded "No," and the remaining 2 percent replied "Don't know/not sure."

In a recent study, Bizjournals ranked 112 major occupational groups to determine which jobs employed men and women "in roughly equal numbers and at comparable pay levels." The results revealed striking differences among occupations in terms of gender equity. See our coverage of this study here.

The Compensation.BLR.com poll included 252 respondents.
