A 360-degree review involves getting feedback about an employee from multiple sources, including supervisors, peers, subordinates, and sometimes even clients.

The poll found that 53 percent of respondents said they use a 360-degree performance review at their organization, and the process is working “great.” Another 6 percent of respondents said that while they use a 360-degree review, the process is flawed.

Three percent of respondents said their organization used a 360-degree review at some point but has since abandoned it.

The survey found that 33 percent of respondents said their organizations performance review process doesn't include a 360-degree review.

Another 5 percent of respondents said their organization is considering whether to use such a review.

The poll included more than 250 respondents and was conducted in January.
